The Chelsea International Photography Competition 2022: The Chelsea International Photography Competition 2022, organized by Agora Gallery, is calling for submissions open to entries from throughout the world, celebrates gifted, notable, and fresh talents in the world of fine arts.

Short description

Entry is now open to the Chelsea International Photography Competition 2022! Organised by Agora Gallery this competition is dedicate to all talented photographers from all over the world.

Organizer is looking for great, new talent, offering amateur and professional photographers at any stage of their careers invaluable opportunities for international exposure, having chance to be discovered and promoted professionally in the heart of New York’s art district.

Digital, Analog, Phone Images and Images taken with any camera are all accepted. Videos are not allowed. The competition is open to images that may investigate any topic, from regional cultures and travel photography to commercial work and photojournalism. All submitted images must be available for sale.

The 15 photographers will be selected from both categories (amateur and professionals) to display one photograph as part of the group exhibition.

Art submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a rotating panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world, ensuring a fair and balanced selection process.

Submission requirements:

➜ For the Amateur Photography category, you are required to upload at least 1 image. All images must be accompanied by a title.

➜ For the Professional Photography category, you are required to upload a min. of 5 images. The images may be part of a series or individual photographs. You may also send in a series description (not mandatory). All images must be accompanied by a title.

All entries, without exception, must be submitted in a digital format with the following specifications:

➜ Each image must be at least 72 dpi and 200kb in size.
➜ The shortest side of the image must be at least 338 pixels.
➜ All images must be in the JPG or JPEG format.
➜ The images should not exceed 5 MB in size and 7500 x 7500 pixels in dimension.

Please note that if selected, you will be required to submit a high-resolution image suitable for printing.

Results will be announced on Mrch 15th, 2021.

Who may enter?

All visual artists worldwide above the age of 18 are eligible to participate.
