The Portable Cabin: The IAC (International Architecture Competition) recently has announced its 'The Portable Cabin' aimed at the entire global community of young architects and architecture students.
➜ Short description
'The Portable Cabin' symbolizes a post-Covid freedom and also a changing world of people moving around the world for geopolitical reasons. A house that functions as a carry-on luggage to explore alternative ways of life.
New habits, new reasons and a new context demand a new type of home.
The cabins covered area shouldn't be less than 15 square meters or 161 square feets or more than 50 m2 ( 538 square feets). The maximum height of the building will be 6 meters.
A total of 25 proposals will be chosen that will go to the final round. From the 25 finalists, the jury will choose the winner, second and third place, in addition to the 4 honorable mentions.
➜ Submission requirements:
➜ Participants must present two (2) A1 format (594x841 mm or 23.4x33.1 inches) oriented vertically or horizontally. The content of the panel is free, while the idea that the participants want to convey is clearly expressed.
➜ In addition, one description of the project that does not exceed 400 words must be submitted. The description must be delivered in PDF format.

The contest is aimed at the entire global community of young architects and architecture students.

➜ 1st Prize: U $ D 1200 + Exposure in the Media and Diffusion in the Main architectural sites.
➜ Honorable Gold Mention + Exhibition in our Media and Dissemination in the Main Architecture Sites.
➜ Silver Honorable Mention + Exposure in our Media and Diffusion in the Main Architecture Sites.

➜ Entry fees:
During the Early registration period (until August 18th) entry fee cost 55 U $ D. After that period ends the amount of the fee will increase.
