World Illustration Awards 2022 now is over!

World Illustration Awards 2022: The Association of Illustrators (AOI) recently has opened the call for entries for the World Illustration Awards 2022, this year celebrating great illustration from across the globe, with an emphasis on supporting and connecting illustrators with each other and the industry.

The Association of Illustrators (AOI) recently has opened the call for entries for the World Illustration Awards 2022, the most prestigious illustration awards globally.

In 2022, they will be celebrate great illustration from across the globe, with an emphasis on supporting and connecting illustrators with each other and the industry.

Work must be entered into one of the ten categories per entry which are:

Advertising
Book Covers
Children’s Publishing
Commercial Publishing
Alternative Publishing
Design, Product & Packaging
Editorial
Exploration
Science & Technology
Site Specific

Illustrators, commissioners, agents and tutors working across all sectors and in any medium are invited to submit work created, commissioned or published since January 2021 into the ten categories of the Awards, which are judged by distinguished professionals from the global illustration industry.

Who may enter?

Illustrators, commissioners, agents and tutors are invited to submit work.

Prize:

500 longlisted projects will be published on AOI’s website in June, followed by the announcement of 200 shortlisted projects which will feature in an Online Showcase launching in September, and a printed catalogue published in October. The variety, quality and creativity highlighted throughout the year promises to offer something for everyone.

There are also some great prizes on offer, including generous cash prizes for the Overall Winners.

Entry fees:

Entry fee is £29 (GBP) per Single Entry and £49 (GBP) per Multiple Entry (inclusive of VAT). AOI Members receive a discount of 20% off their entry fees.
