LIT Design Awards 2020: LIT Design Awards, organized by Farmani Group is open to submissions on a global level, accepting entries from lighting manufacturers, designers, students and practices from all around the world.

The 2020 edition of the LIT Design Awards is now open to submissions, accepting entries from lighting manufacturers, designers, and practices from all around the world.
The LIT Design Awards was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. They believe that lighting is both an art and a science, and it is one of the most important elements of design. LIT was envisioned to celebrate creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and applications.

➜ Lighting Design of the Year - Professional
➜ Lifetime Achievement - Professional
➜ Emerging Lighting Product Designer of the Year - Student
➜ Emerging Lighting Design of the Year - Student
Submission requirements:
➜ Entry description is one of the most essential parts of your submission, so make your description engaging and interesting; keep it succinct, but still, give organizer much information as possible; share the original idea for the design, the creative trigger, how it contributes to society or local communities, etc.
➜ You can upload up to 10 images with each entry saved as JPEG (.jpeg, .jpg) or PNG (.png). Images must not exceed 4MB per file and a minimum of 1000 pixels wide. Select some images that give an overall view of the product design, and others which are close-up shots. Please keep in mind that in case you have a winning submission, the cover image (the first image you upload) will be displayed on the website Winners Gallery and in the Annual EPDA Book, so it should be the image that best represents your entry overall.
➜ You can also upload a PDF file with any additional project details, 3D drawings, product specifications, business plans, or any other information you may feel is important to share with the Jury.
➜ If your entry has a product specification, you have an option to upload one PDF file in A4 or letter-sized format. The PDF must not exceed 4MB.
➜ the project description, credits, and other information should be written in English.
The deadline for submissions is October 1, with a late deadline of November 1, 2020.
All entries are voted on by a grand jury panel composed of experienced and prominent academics, professionals, press members, entrepreneurs and key people from the lighting design industry.

➜ 20% Early Bird discount until August 1st, 2020
➜ 10% Extended Early Bird discount until September 1st, 2020
➜ Regular Deadline: October 1st, 2020
➜ Final Deadline: November 1st, 2020

➜ Who may enter?
The LIT Design Awards is accepting entries from lighting manufacturers, designers, and practices from all around the world. Students and young designers are also encouraged to apply.
➜ Prize:
Winners will receive the LIT trophy, extensive publicity showcasing their designs and products to an international audience, and more.
