Short description

The World Food Photography Awards 2025, known previously as the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year, is a prestigious international competition that celebrates the artistry, creativity, and storytelling of food photography. This competition has become a cornerstone event for food photographers, enthusiasts, and professionals alike.

As a global platform, the World Food Photography Awards attracts entries from both professional and amateur photographers, offering them the chance to share their unique perspectives on food.

It invites photographers from around the world to capture the many dimensions of food, from production and preparation to shared meals, cultural rituals, and contemporary food issues.

By showcasing over 25 diverse categories, the awards aim to reflect the multifaceted world of culinary imagery. Each category provides an opportunity for photographers to explore themes ranging from cultural traditions and food sustainability to food styling and innovative techniques, highlighting the role of food in connecting people and cultures globally.

Through stunning visuals and compelling narratives, participants have the opportunity to spotlight the cultural, emotional, and aesthetic dimensions of food.

The competition is not just a celebration of technical skill but also an exploration of the role food plays in human lives, communities, and traditions, making it a significant cultural event in the photography and culinary worlds.
