Animayo 2026 International Poster Contest : Animayo 2026 International Poster Contest has been recently opened for entries and like every year invites artists from all over the world to submit their original artwork on the theme that take us into the world of ideas and creativity, focusing on inspiration, fantasy and/or technology.

➜ Short description

The production company Damián Perea Producciones SL , recently has announced its Animayo 2026 International Poster Contest, international competition that welcomes creativity and artistic promotion, with the aim of selecting the poster that will be the official image of the Festival Animayo 2026.

Each participant or group shall submit a maximum of 5 designs.

There are no thematic restrictions. However, the Organizer reserves the right to reject any work that promotes or condones terrorism, extreme and/or gender-based violence, racism, cults, or affiliation with extreme nationalist ideologies such as Nazism.

The theme of the poster must take into the world of ideas and creativity, focusing on inspiration, fantasy and/or technology.

Any technique is allowed. Drawings, photography, 3D creations or any other creation shall be accepted as long as they are original. The works should be unpublished and the poster must be submitted in digital format and sized no larger than 2Mb.

In April 2026, the Festival programming team will select between 200 and 250 works as pre-selected entries. From these, at least 40 finalist works will be chosen to form the Official Competition Sections. The final list of selected works will be published on the official festival website during Animayo Gran Canaria 2026. The finalist works will be screened before the International Jury and the attending audience.

The chosen artwork will be featured as the central visual identity of the event, making this competition a remarkable opportunity for global exposure.

This competition is open worldwide to anyone aged 18 or over.

➜ Prize:

The winner of the Grand Jury Prize will receive a monetary award of €3,000. The winning poster will be used to promote Animayo 2026.
