2026 International Illustration Competition "Art on Climate" is now open for entries!

International Illustration Competition "Art on Climate" recently organised in its 2026 edition by Fingertips Company Limited is held right across the world with aim to bring greater visibility to the issue of action against climate change.

Short description

2026 International Illustration Competition "Art on Climate", organized by Fingertips Company Limited , based in Hong Kong, recently announced for entries invites talented illustrators and video creators to create artworks centred on the theme of climate change.

There are two categories:

Illustration Category - The artwork(s) can be created using any medium, including painting, computer software, and mixed media.
Animated Video Category - The animated video(s) must be between 10 and 15 seconds long.

Participants should draw inspiration from one or more of the following topics as a starting point of their artworks:

1. Driving the Climate Transition for Resilient Communities
Climate change is no longer a distant risk but a call for an active global transition. To ensure long-term stability, we must move beyond merely identifying threats toward financing and implementing solutions that build resilient communities. This topic explores how we can navigate the “moment of truth” by turning climate challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth and community strength.

2. Respecting Planetary Boundaries to Protect Biodiversity
To maintain a stable environment, we must operate within the Earth’s environmental limits. This topic focuses on protecting our natural capital and reversing biodiversity loss. By respecting these planetary boundaries, we can ensure that our transition to a low-carbon economy does not come at the expense of our vital ecosystems, fostering a future where nature and humanity thrive in balance.

3. Fostering Inclusive Capitalism for a Just Transition
To deliver enduring value, sustainability must be inclusive, ensuring that decarbonisation efforts do not come at the expense of social stability. Inclusive capitalism seeks to balance financial returns with a “Just Transition” – ensuring that the move toward a green economy creates fair opportunities and social value for everyone. This topic invites creators to visualise a world where sustainable investing supports a society that is both environmentally sound and socially equitable.

Each participant may submit up to three illustrations and three animated videos.

The submitted illustration(s) or animated video(s) must not have been previously published or used for any other purpose.

Results will be announced by 30 September 2026.
