VOX Architecture Ideas Competition 2026 is now open for entries!
The VOX Design Challenge, international design and architecture competition organized by the Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing (FOAID) in partnership with VOX invites architects and designers to showcase built projects where VOX Ceiling solutions have been used creatively as an integral part of the overall design vision.
Short description
VOX Design Challenge, international design and architecture competition has been recently opened for entries.
The award is organized by the Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing (FOAID), a two-day design festival scheduled for 27 & 28 November 2026 in New Delhi and 27 & 28 January 2027 in Mumbai, in partnership with VOX.
The VOX Design Challenge was created to celebrate innovative and impactful ceiling design in architecture and interiors. It invites architects and designers to showcase built projects where VOX Ceiling solutions have been used creatively as an integral part of the overall design vision, create spatial impact and elevate a building's design.
VOX is a Poland-based interior design brand known for innovative ceiling, wall, facade, and interior solutions that combine aesthetics, durability and functionality.
With a strong focus on transforming everyday surfaces into expressive design elements, VOX encourages architects and designers to look at ceilings not just as a finishing layer, but as a powerful part of spatial storytelling.
The VOX Design Challenge encourages designers to reimagine ceilings as a bold design statement rather than just a functional surface.
Categories:

- Residential Apartment (more than 1000 sq.ft.): Built Interior Design projects of an individual dwelling apartment of 1000 sq. ft. and more than 1000 sq. ft.
- Residential Apartment (less than 1000 sq.ft.): Built Interior Design projects of an individual dwelling apartment less than 1000 sq. ft.
- Residential Villa & Bungalow: Built Interior Design projects of an individual dwelling house/ villa/ bungalow
- Restaurant & Lounge Bar: Built Interior Design projects in the service industry including cafes, restaurants, lounges, bars
- Commercial: Built Interior Design projects including workplaces, offices, studios, banks, co-working spaces
- Retail: Built Interior Design projects including shops, showrooms, stores, retail spaces like bakeries, boutiques, departmental stores, salon.

- Public & Instututional building: Built Architecture & Interior Design projects including research labs, libraries, schools, college training centres, recreational spaces, theatres, cultural & community centres, religious institutions, galleries, museums, malls.
- Hospitality: Built Architecture & Interior Design projects in the hospitality industry including hotels, motels, lodging facilities, wellness retreats, resorts, amusement parks, the architecture frestaurants, spas, clubhouses, banquets, lounges as part of hotels.
➜ SPECIAL category
- VOX Ceilings as a Design Statement: This category invites architects and designers to showcase their creativity and ingenuity by integrating VOX Ceiling solutions into their projects. The aim is to highlight how VOX products can transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and offer functional benefits.
Only those projects may be submitted for the contest that have been completed in the period from 1st August 2024 to 31st August 2026. Projects that have not been completed until this date or any unbuilt project offered as a submission will be disqualified. Any project submitted in previous years for the Architecture Ideas Competition will not be accepted as this year’s submission.
Eligibility
The VOX Design Challenge is open to architects and designers of all ages, making it more inclusive and accessible to a wider design community. Entrants need to have a qualification, diploma or a degree in architecture or interior design. The age of the participant can be up to 35 years.
