World Street Photo Awards 2026 is now open for entries!
The World Street Photo Awards 2026, recently announced for entries, invite photographers worldwide to submit authentic street photographs for a chance to win cash prizes, exhibit their work in Berlin and gain international exposure.
Short description
The World Street Photo Awards 2026 invite professional, amateur and student photographers from around the world to capture authentic moments and stories from the street.
Entrants may choose from categories including Reflection, Geometry, Minimalism, Black and White, Color, The Decisive Moment, Mobile Phone Photography and Open Theme. Previously published or awarded photographs may be entered if the photographer retains copyright. A single image may be submitted to multiple categories for an additional fee.
The competition offers a €2,500 total prize pool, including €500 for Photographer of the Year and €100 for each category winner. Winners gain exposure through the online gallery, media channels and official photobook. The awards also promote an exhibition at a Berlin gallery.
Submit photographs by 10 October 2026 at 23:59 CEST. Winners will be revealed on 8 November 2026.
Submission requirements
➜ Submit photographs in JPEG (.jpg) format through the official awards website.
➜ Maximum file size: 7 MB.
➜ Color profile: sRGB.
➜ Watermarks: not permitted.
AI-generated images are not eligible. AI editing tools may be used if the image originates from a photograph taken with a camera and is not substantially altered.
Eligibility
Open to professional, amateur and student photographers of all nationalities and skill levels. Entrants under 18 must provide written parental or guardian consent. Previously published or awarded photos are eligible if the entrant retains full copyright and meets the submission rules.
Benefits
The World Street Photo Awards 2026 offer a total prize pool of €2,500. The Photographer of the Year receives €500, while each category winner receives €100.
Winners and honorable mentions receive digital medals and certificates, a one-year showcase in the online Winners’ Gallery and international exposure.
Selected works may also be featured in the official WSPA photobook, while the awards promote an exhibition at a Berlin gallery.
Entry fees
➜ First photograph costs €18.
➜ Photographs 2–4: €15 each.
➜ Photographs 5–10: €13 each.
➜ Photographs 11 onward: €10 each.
Entering the same photograph in an additional category costs €10 per category.
