2024 China Hardware Products International Design Competition: The China Hardware Products International Design Competition 2024 is now open for entries in its 19th edition and like every year invites designers from all around the world to participate in order to improve innovative design ability of hardware and promote hardware product development in China.

➜ Short description

The 19th edition of the China Hardware Product International Design Competition 2024 now is opened for entires, open to students and teachers from universities, design institutions, enterprises and freelance designers from all over the world.

The China Hardware Products International Design Competition has been successfully held for 18 years since its foundation in 2006, covering nearly 30 countries and regions all over the world.

Submissions for the Creative Design Award can be entered into 6 distinctive categories that include designs for Outdoor Leisure Products, Multi-Functional Quick-Fit Room/Shed, Sports & Leisure Vehicle, Healthy Cup/Pot, Rehabilitation Care Product and Home Fitness Equipment.

The competition is open, innovative, pragmatic and developing, all the design propositions are derived from the actual needs of Yongkang’s local enterprises, in order to build Yongkang into the International Hardware Capital and “the advanced manufacturing base in China and the world”.

All submissions must be original works, and the same work cannot be submitted for both awards.

This competition is open to students and teachers from universities, design institutions, enterprises and freelance designers from all over the world.

➜ Prize:

The 19th China Hardware International Industrial Design Competition includes many different prizes split between the Gold Star Award and Creative Design Award categories, with a total prize money of ¥3.630.000 (RMB).

Eligible for the Gold Star Award are designs with outstanding commercial and social value that can be rapidly industrialized (no limit to categories) to attract outstanding innovative projects and innovation teams for deep integration into the Yongkang manufacturing industry.
