Mslexia Women's Short Story Competition 2025, internatinal call for enties has been recently announced and organized by Mslexia, a British magazine dedicate for women who write.
This competition is seeking for unpublished complete short fiction of up to 3,000 words.
Submtted entries should be written in English.
Entrants will be notified of the outcome of their entry in November 2025.
The winner, three finalists and eight further shortlisted entrants will be announced in the December 2025 edition of Mslexia.
The judge this year is award-winning author Eley Williams.
➜ Who may enter?
The competition is open to women of any nationality from any country.
➜ Prize:
The winning prize is a whopping £3,000 and three finalists will receive £100. The winner and finalists will be published in Mslexia, with eight additional finalists, along with the four winners, appearing in our ebook anthology Best Women's Fiction 2025.
➜ Entry fees:
Entry fee is £12 per story.
