World Design Rankings 2022 - Best Design Worldwide by the A’Design Award: WDR recently has announced results updated regarding the WDR – World Design Rankings 2022 in Arts, Architecture and Design that ranks all the countries based on the number of designers that have been granted with the A’Design Awards & Competition.

Short description

The 2022 World Design Rankings (WDR) are now available and ranks all the countries based on the number of designers that have been granted with the A’Design Awards & Competition.

Once again China takes the first place among 114 represented countries in 2022-2023 with 110 Platinum, 567 Golden, 1375 Silver, 1090 Bronze and 738 Iron Design Awards won globally. Is followed by United States, Japan, Italy, Hong Kong, Great Britain, Taiwan, Germany and Portugal which took the top positions in 2022.



The ranking aim to provide a snapshot of the state-of-art and design potentials of countries worldwide by highlighting their creative strengths, design weaknesses and available opportunities.
For each country, three additional tables for strengths, weaknesses and opportunities are listed. The table of “Design Strengths” displays dominant design fields, in which a country is highly competitiveand successful; i.e. for example you could learn whether your cuntry is better in Fashion Design, Furniture Design or Graphic Design. The “Design Weaknesses” table display design fields that are below average in comparison to other countries. The “Design Opportunities” table display latent design categories that could be further explored by the country.
