Short description
The Humanity Cartoons Competition 2025 is an international cartoon contest dedicated to promoting awareness, dialogue, and critical thought around the this year theme “Racism – One Race: Human.”
The competition positions itself as a global platform for socially engaged cartoonists who wish to address racism through creativity, satire, and artistic expression.
The theme of this year’s “Humanity Cartoons” competition is the recent rise of racism. The contest encourages participants to submit original and creative cartoons addressing this theme, with the aim of raising awareness and provoking thought. Participants should focus on depicting the negative aspects of racism. The theme also emphasizes using the power of cartoon art to shed light on important social issues and to contribute to a better understanding of matters related to racism.
This competition encourages artists to use the power of visual storytelling to expose discrimination, challenge racial stereotypes, and highlight the shared dignity of all people.
Partecipants are invited to come up with new and striking ideas on the topic of racism and illustrate them through your cartoons.
Submissions are expected to communicate strong messages through compelling visuals, allowing audiences to reflect on the social, political, and cultural impact of racism while recognizing the unifying idea that humanity belongs to a single race.
Through its global reach, the competition aspires to inspire meaningful dialogue, promote inclusion, and contribute to a wider movement for justice, empathy, and solidarity.
