18th Prisma Art Prize : Il Varco Creative Hub presents the 18th edition of the Prisma Art Prize, an international art competition dedicated to promoting contemporary artists and their creative expressions through painting, drawing, and engraving.
➜ Short description
Il Varco organizes the 18th edition of its PRISMA Art Prize, an art prize that takes place every three months online with cash award and that will end with an annual group exhibition at the end of the fourth edition of the same year, with some of the artists that took place in the quarterly editions, chosen by the art direction.
With a strong emphasis on artistic innovation, this contest provides a significant platform for emerging and established artists to present their work to a global audience. Artists from around the world are encouraged to submit pieces that reflect originality, technical proficiency, and conceptual depth, contributing to the Prize’s reputation for fostering diverse artistic dialogues and cultural exchanges.
Participants have the freedom to explore traditional methods or experiment with new and mixed-media techniques, empowering them to push the boundaries of contemporary visual art.
Organizer is looking for paintings, drawings, graphic art and engraving of any size and on any support.
The competition’s international jury, composed of respected art curators, critics, and gallery owners, meticulously evaluates each submission, ensuring high artistic standards and enhancing visibility for artists whose works exemplify outstanding creativity and vision.
All the finalist artists in the quarterly editions are also eligible for the following prizes:

➜ Dar Meso Art Residency Prize, consisting of a residency at Dar Meso, an artistic institution based in the heart of Tunis, to take place in 2026/2027
➜ Casacon Art Residency Prize, consisting of a residency at Casacon Sirolo, Marche, Italy, to take place in 2026/2027
➜ Pallavicini-Dettori Home Show Prize, consisting of a personal exhibition for an artist in the Home Gallery of Pallavicini – Dettori collectors, to take place in 2026/2027
➜ Isorrophia Gallery Prize, consisting of a solo exhibition for an artist organized by Isorrophia Gallery, to take place in 2026/2027
An open number of finalists artists will exhibit in the collective exhibition at Contemporary Cluster in Rome and will be featured in the 5th year Catalogue.

➜ Who may enter?
Submissions to the quarterly calls are open to all living artists without limits of age, sex, nationality and ethnicity and to works of painting, drawing and engraving of any size and on any medium.
➜ Prize:
The winner will be awarded with a 500 Euro of the cash prize. In addition, three finalists will be awarded with an Honorable mention, which consists in an interview curated by Prisma Art Prize.
➜ Entry fees:
Entry fee is €34 (for 1-3 paintings). You can submit up to 5 additional works at a price of 5 euros per piece.
