Short description
PAVE Global is pleased to announce that the registration window for the 29th Annual International Student Design Competition in partnership with Ulta Beauty is now open for 2024 editon.
The PAVE Student Design Competition promotes “real world” design experience for college-level students interested in pursuing careers in the retail design industry.
This year's student designers have been challenged to evolve the in-store customer experience to exceed Gen-Z expectations of what it means to discover at Ulta Beauty.
"At Ulta Beauty, we are always striving to provide the most engaging experiences to our guests. Given the amazing talent across the student population, who are also our core Beauty Enthusiast consumers, it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to learn from and be inspired by each of the design submissions," said Paul Loux, Vice President of Store Design & Experience, Ulta Beauty. "We’re honored to sponsor this year’s student design competition and are eager to see the student’s take on our guest experience. Together, the possibilities will be even more beautiful."
Ulta Beauty invites students to think about the store environment holistically, including both Store Design and Visual Merchandising. You may focus on your primary design area and/or collaborate with people who focus on other design areas. Individual student entries will be accepted as well as entries from teams of two students. If a team of two is chosen as a winner, both students will be recognized.
As an example, a student who considers Store Design their strength can partner with a student who specializes in Visual Merchandising. Collaborating or adapting your strengths and areas of design study can lead to improved work when looking at a situation from a fresh perspective.
Organiser look forward to seeing your reimagined and reinvented visions of Ulta Beauty as you merge store, experience, and visual design.
