43rd Chicago Latino Film Festival Poster Contest 2027 is now open for entries!
The Chicago Latino Film Festival Poster Contest 2027 invites artists and designers worldwide to create the official poster for the festival’s 43rd edition, celebrating Latino cultures and the moviegoing experience.
Short description
The 43rd Chicago Latino Film Festival Poster Contest 2027 invites artists, graphic designers and creative professionals worldwide to design the official poster for the upcoming festival, taking place in Chicago from 15 to 26 April 2027.
Organized by the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago (ILCC), the competition celebrates the diversity of Iberoamerican cultures and the power of cinema to connect audiences across different backgrounds.
This year's theme, “Latino Stories for Movie Lovers”, encourages participants to explore the moviegoing experience through original, visually engaging poster designs.
Entries must incorporate the festival's name, edition number and dates while reflecting the cultural diversity represented by the event. Designs should avoid national stereotypes and symbols associated with a single country.
The winning poster will become the official visual identity of the festival and may appear across printed programs, digital advertising, social media, merchandise, promotional materials and animations.
The winner is expected to be announced in late January 2027.
