Applied Arts 2026 Student Awards, organized by Applied Arts Magazine, the largest and most respected show of its kind in North America once again is announced and dedicate to post-secondary and high school students in creative advertising, graphic design, interactive media, photography and illustration programs.

This international art competition for students, the largest and most respected show and Art Awards for students of its kind in North America, is open worldwide to post-secondary and high school students in creative advertising, graphic design, interactive media, photography and illustration programs. Applied Arts is a highly-regarded visual communications magazine founded in 1986 in Canada. Winning an Applied Arts Student Award is a great way to launch your career.
Entries can be submitted in six main categories:

➜ Advertising
➜ Design
➜ Digital Motion & Gaming
➜ Photography & Illustration
➜ High School
Any work completed as a school requirement or work completed independently during the course of your studies is eligible for entry. And even if you graduated within the last year and the work that you are interested in submitting to the 2026 Student Awards was not submitted to last year’s Student Awards, then you are still eligible to enter. Instructors can make group submission on behalf of their students.
Eligibility
This competition is open worldwide to post-secondary and high school students. High school students may only apply to the High School categories. The rest of the categories are for post-secondary students.
Benefits
Winners receive significant recognition and exposure in the creative industry. Their work will be published in the Applied Arts Magazine’s Summer 2024 edition, and featured in an online gallery. Winners also receive a digital badge and an official award certificate. Additionally, they have the opportunity to order extra certificates, copies of the Awards Annual, and a personalized engraved trophy, although these come at additional costs.
Entry fees
Entry fees start from 20 USD and very depends of the submission category.
