DESIRE International Design Reward now is over!

DESIRE International Design Reward: DESIRE, an international competition recently apened for entries is aimed to allow the expression of new languages of contemporary design, in order to bring out new talents, invites all designers, students and design lovers without limits of age and nationality to participate.

➜ Short description

DESIRE International Design Reward is an international competition, aimed at all designers, students and design lovers without limits of age and nationality.

DESIRE’s goal is to allow the expression of new languages of contemporary design, in order to bring out new talents and new ideas.

Projects, products or prototypes, still to be created or already created, are allowed, without limit of creation date.

Types of projects are allowed in the following categories:

➜ Lighting
➜ Furniture
➜ Interiors
➜ Outdoors
➜ Packaging
➜ Design objects
➜ Jewelry
➜ Textile
➜ Other

All projects will be presented through a representative image (cover), and a PDF or DOC document containing all descriptive and design indications (texts and images) of the project itself.

The projects and any prototypes made must be available for the final exhibition and must also be the property of the designer who proposes them.

New projects will be promoted internationally across all the stakeholders in the field of design, and not only, and will be diffused both culturally and productively through all communication tools.

The jury, made up of curators and design critics, will select 7 projects which will receive a cash prize useful for the realization of the prototypes. The realized prototypes will be subsequently exhibited in a gallery in Rome on February 2021 and collected in a paper and digital book-catalog.

The winners will be announced on 18 December 2020.

Entry fees:

The subscription fees depend on the number of submitted projects: 1 project: 50€ - 2 projects: 80€ - 3 projects: 100€

➜ Prize:

The jury, made up of curators and design critics, will select 7 projects which will receive a cash prize (500€ each one) useful for the realization of the prototypes. The realized prototypes will be subsequently exhibited in a gallery in Rome and collected in a paper and digital book-catalog.
