Environmental Photographer Of The Year 2022: The Environmental Photographer of the Year 2022, photography competition that encourages entries that are contemporary, creative, resonant, challenging, original and beautiful, but most of all, pictures that will inspire people around the world to start taking care of our environment, has been recently opened for entries.

The Environmental Photographer of the Year is an international showcase for the very best in environmental photography, recently opened for entries.

Now in its 15th year, the Environmental Photographer of the Year will continue to spotlight the most inspirational environmental photography from across the globe and to provide an international platform to raise awareness for the environmental issues that put our planet at risk.

The award celebrates challenging, beautiful, and powerful images that encourage humanity to take care of our environment.

There are six categories:

➜ Environmental Photographer of the Year
➜ Young Environmental Photographer of the Year
➜ Vision of the Future
➜ Recovering Nature
➜ Keeping 1.5 Alive
➜ Adapting for Tomorrow

➜ Submission requirements:

➜ All photographs submitted must have been taken after 1 January 2021. Each entrant may submit a maximum of three photos.

➜ Some digital adjustment or editing is allowed, but entrants should understand that the objective is to remain faithful to the original experience and to never deceive the viewer or misrepresent reality.

➜ Entrants must be the sole author and owner of the copyright for all the entries they submit, or they must have obtained permission from the copyright holder to submit the entries on their behalf. The photographers retains the copyright to all their entries.

The winners will be announced in November 2022.
