Heimtextil ’New & Next University’ Competition 2021: Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home textiles, is calling for submissions for its 2021 New & Next University Competition, inviting all international universities specialized in textile design to participate.

Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home textiles, is calling for submissions for its 2021 New & Next University Competition, inviting all international universities specialized in textile design to participate.

The Heimtextil ’New & Next University’ Competition 2021 is a contest designed by Heimtextil to promote young professionals graduating from university and to establish a platform for tomorrow’s innovators.

With the ’New & Next University Contest’ you have the opportunity to present your institution’s academic portfolio and the projects of your university’s graduating students to approximately 60,000 trade visitors from around the world and to representatives of the international trade press at Heimtextil, the leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles.

All national and international universities offering textile design or related studies are invited to register and submit three representative graduation works from your students.

The 5 winning universities will present their institution and student works exclusively and free of charge at the 2021 Heimtextile in Frankfurt.

There is no entry fee to participate!

Who may enter?

This competition invites all national and international universities offering textile design to participate.

Prize:

Winning universities will receive a free all-in stand in the "New & Next Area" at Heimtextil 2021. The area will be located in the Textile Design segment in Hall 3.0 near to the Heimtextil Trend Space.

Heimtextil’s PR team will ensure media coverage – blog entries, press statements and postings on social media – for the projects submitted by graduates from the winning universities.
