LUSH 2 Call For Entries: Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta, FL recently has announced a call for entries for an upcoming exhibition that will be runs from October 13, 2022– December 10, 2022, inviting all emerging and established ceramics artists who create functional, sculptural, and experimental pieces in a variety of artistic expressions to participate.

Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta, FL announces a call to artists for an upcoming exhibition that will be runs from October 13, 2022– December 10, 2022.

LUSH2 is a contemporary ceramics exhibition showcasing current and innovative practices in the field of ceramics, providing a spotlight for current works that utilize clay as a primary material.

LUSH 2 exhibition provides an opportunity to feature your best pieces to influential collectors in a world class gallery in Palm Beach County, Florida, during the holiday season.

Oranizer welcomes submissions in an assortment of shapes and sizes with rich and seductive surfaces. All entries must be original and completed within the last two years. Weight may not exceed 50 pounds.

Artists selected for this exhibition will be juried by a panel of nationally recognized ceramics artists. The exhibition runs from October 13, 2022– December 10, 2022.

Thursday, October 13, will be the Artists' Reception and Award Ceremony with judging by the noted ceramicist, Brian Rochefort, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

Submission requirements:

You need to submit two digital images for each work: One front, one detail. File format need to be JPEG or JPG only, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and under 5 MB.

Lighthouse ArtCenter encourages you to send the best quality photos you can. The images you send are the only representations of your work the jurors will see when considering your entry. These photos are also the ones used in advertising and printed materials. Photos should be in sharp focus, showing all edges, well lit, with correct color and no distortions.

Who may enter?

Open nationally to all emerging and established ceramics artists who create functional, sculptural, and experimental pieces in a variety of artistic expressions.

Prize:

First Place $1,500.
Second Place $1,000.
Third Place $750.
Honorable Mention $500.
Honorable Mention $500.

Entry fees:

Entry fee is $40.
