PRINT Awards 2020: PRINT Awards 2020, presented by ADOBE has been recently opened for entries with goal to spotlight the best domestic and international work through 20 comprehensive categories targeting every aspect of graphic design, from identities to type design to web design to concept work.

PRINT Awards 2020, now is calling for entries inviting everyone worldwide to participate!

Formerly known as the Regional Design Awards, the PRINT Awards has a fresh focus on global inclusion, new exclusive categories spotlighting design activism and the latest creative technology, and it continues to highlight talented student work.

It’s goal is to spotlight the best domestic and international work through 20 comprehensive categories targeting every aspect of graphic design, from identities to type design to web design to concept work.

In 1980, we launched PRINT’s Regional Design Awards competition with a simple goal: to show that outstanding design wasn’t just limited to New York City, and could be found throughout every single region of the United States. For decades, the PRINT RDA was heralded as one of the most prestigious American design competitions, and was a go-to resource for both designers seeking inspiration and creative firms seeking designers. Now, 40 years on, we’re updating and launching a new annual awards program to reflect the fact that outstanding design isn’t just limited to the United States, and can be found in every corner of the globe. You can compete for the following titles in 20 categories listed below:

Citizen Design Award(No fee to Enter)
Adobe Dimension Design Award (No fee to Enter):
Create a unique piece of design in the form of a poster, web banner or marketing piece for print, web or digital channels using Creative Cloud software to produce content that amplifies your design skills and creativity, and highlights the use of Adobe Dimension and 3D.

Submission guidelines:

You can enter .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png and .pdf files. File size should not exceed 10MB. A minimum of three attachments are accepted per entry with a maximum of 10. Additionally, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpeg4 and .wmw are also accepted. URLs can be attached. The ideal file size is 1980px x 1080px.

You may use a minimum of 300 words to describe your project, and a maximum of 1,000.

All entries must have been created, produced, or launched in publicly between September 1st, 2019 and October 1st, 2020.

A panel of 21 esteemed industry judges will use a points-based system to score entries based on Originality, Innovation, Execution and Permanence. The results will determine the Best of Show and First-, Second- and Third-Place winners in each category. Winners will be announced on PRINT’s website in December 2020.

Entry fees:

Entries are divided into Early Bird, Regular, Late and Final Deadline tiers. During the Early Entry period (July 30–Aug. 16, 2020) entry fee cost $125. After that period cost of entry will increase. All student entries cost $75, no matter when they are entered.
There is no fee for Adobe Dimension Design Award & PRINT Citizen Design Award.

PRINT Awards 2020 is a worldwide competition with entries accepted from all countries.

Prize:

A panel of 21 esteemed industry judges with subject matter expertise in each category will select the winners, who will be featured on PRINT, broadcast to our network of more than 1 million, receive a trophy or custom certificate designed and signed by Debbie Millman, and more.
