Short description

Pinata Foundation is hosting the 3rd International Digital Art Biennial „THE ONE”, dedicated to the future of our planet.

The aim of the competition is to present the most interesting works during the exhibitions and select award winners.

The competition accepts works by professional artists and art students from around the world, created using digital techniques, in two categories:

Graphics (digital graphics, digital painting, digital collage, digital drawing)
Video (videos no longer than 3 minutes and animations). The title „THE ONE” refers to Planet Earth, the only known place in the cosmos where life has developed. We want to draw attention to the uniqueness of our planet and instill in the project’s recipients a sense of responsibility to care for its future. The competition’s goal is to spark a discussion about the ongoing destruction of Earth caused by human activity - the progress of civilization. We want every artist and recipient to reflect on why in our daily lives we often neglect to consider the future of the world, forgetting what is most important. Shouldn’t caring for the planet be our common goal? Works of art in various digital techniques – i.e. digital graphic, digital painting, digital collage, digital drawing, jpg/jpeg format, video no longer than 3 minutes in mp4 format are welcome to the competition. The work must not be created with the use of tools using artificial intelligence.

Each Participant may send by e-mail between 1 and 3 digital works of art.

Participation in the competition is free of charge. Participants are also free of charge after qualifying for the post-competition exhibition. Printing of artwork will be at the organizer’s expense.

Professional jury will select the exhibition participants and award winners.

The post-competition exhibition is scheduled for November-December 2026 at the Forum Gallery, located at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
