TIPA Photo Contest 2023: The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), a renowned organization known for its global footprint in the photo and imaging domain, is launching its premier photo contest for 2023, aptly named 'Picture This! Camera Shots.'

The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), a renowned organization known for its global footprint in the photo and imaging domain, is launching its premier photo contest for 2023, aptly named 'Picture This! Camera Shots.' This contest is designed to celebrate and promote the art of photography, calling upon both professionals and passionate hobbyists to showcase their unique relationship with their photography equipment.

This contest, beyond being a competition, is a celebration of the shared passion for the craft, and TIPA is eager to witness the myriad ways photographers from around the world engage with their gear. Through this contest, they aim to strengthen their position as a leading voice in the global photographic community.

With a deep-rooted history in recognizing the best cameras, lenses, and other imaging products, TIPA’s latest contest presents three compelling categories for entry: "My Camera and I," which invites photographers to share self-portraits with their equipment; "My Camera in Action," focusing on photographers in the midst of their craft; and "What’s in My Camera Bag," a category that gives a glimpse into the tools and accessories photographers cherish.

Organiser invite you to send your best shot of photo gear, new or old, expensive or not.

A jury of experts will award prizes to five photography projects in each of the three categories. The jury will also select the best project from these categories and an overall winner from all category winners.

➜ Simply upload your best shots in one, two or all three categories (up to 5 pictures per project).

Who may enter?

The competition is open to anyone worldwide.

Prize:

A jury of experts will award prizes to five photography projects in each of the three categories. The jury will also select the best project from these categories and an overall winner from all category winners. Category and overall winner will receive cash prizes totaling 3,000 euros (overall winner 1,500 euros, category winners 500 Euro each). All winning entries will be published in TIPA member publications and on the TIPA website.
