World Nature Photography Awards (WNPA) 2023: World Nature Photography Awards (WNPA) 2023, now is calling for entries inviting both amateur and professional photographers from any country in the world to share their vision of the natural world.

Short description

World Nature Photography Awards (WNPA) 2023, a global nature photography contest for planet Earth is calling for entries inviting all nature photographers from all around the world to participate with the best shoots.

The mission of this awards is to celebrate the world’s best nature photographers, whilst showcasing nature’s beauty to a wider audience, to drive us all to secure a better future for our planet. Winning work is seen by millions of people around the globe.

There are 14 categories within the WNPA, so there’s plenty of opportunity to share your amazing work. From landscape photography, to animals in their habitats, photojournalism and humans’ interaction with nature, the stage is set for you to share your vision of the natural world.

There is no limit to the number of individual images each artist may submit. There is no time or date restriction on when the image was taken.

The jury awards gold, silver and bronze titles in 14 categories and one photographer takes home the overall title of World Nature Photographer 2022.

Submission requirements:

Submissions are accepted in digital format only. High quality scans of negatives or transparencies are also accepted. Please include with your submission the story behind your image and where it was taken.

Files must be submitted as JPEGs, saved at a high-quality setting of at least 8 in Photoshop, Adobe RGB (1998), and at least 1000 pixels along the longest dimension (72dpi). Images should not have borders. EXIF details should be kept intact.

Limited digital manipulations are permitted, providing they do not compromise the authenticity of the image. However, composites and the addition or removal of objects, people, animals or parts of animals is strictly forbidden.

Who may enter?

Entries are eligible from any country worldwide from both amateur and professional photographers who are over 18 years of age.

Prize:

The jury awards gold, silver and bronze titles in 14 categories and one photographer takes home the overall title of World Nature Photographer 2023 and prize money of $1,000.

Entry fees:

Early Bird entry fee (until1 March 2023) is £27 per entry + UK VAT and allows you to enter up to 6 images. Standard entry fee is £30.
