NY Product Design Awards 2024: The 2024 NY Product Design Awards recently opened for entries is an international competition organised by International Awards Associate Inc (IAA) that honors the efforts of talented product designers, design teams, and manufacturers from all over the world.

The NY Product Design Awards was launched to honor the efforts of talented product designers, design teams, and manufacturers from all over the world, whose designs have made daily living that much better with their practical and ingenious creations.

The 2024 NY Product Design Awards categories include Lighting Design, Automotive & Transport, Furniture, Packaging, Home Interior, Fashion & Lifestyle, and many more!

Recognizing that excellence exists in various forms in the design industry, the NY Product Design Awards intends to celebrate excellence in all its facets that are found in design work and its designers.

This year theme is 'Beyond Ideas'. WHERE IMAGINATION SPARKS INNOVATION

In the creative world of design, we uncover visionaries who do more than create products; they breathe life into them, endowing each with purpose and the extraordinary ability to reshape our world.

These trailblazers of a new era craft a profound bridge from dreams to tangible reality, transmuting mere ideas into captivating designs. The NY Product Design Awards welcome those who gaze into the future with bright eyes, eager to shape tomorrow. We celebrate the pioneers who boldly explore uncharted territories, bringing ideas to life in vibrant ways.

There are four levels of achievement in the competition:

➜ Product Design of the Year
➜ Product Designer of the Year
➜ Gold (Average score between 85 - 100)
➜ Silver (Average score between 60 – 84)

The NY Product Design Awards jury panel comprises veteran designers, alongside creative and innovative professionals, whose experiences make their judgements both focused and impartial. Judges are selected based on experience, credibility, and availability.

➜ Submission requirements:

➜ Entries must be produced within the last five calendar years up through the final deadline.
➜ All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published or implemented and may not be modified for the competition. The NY Product Design Awards may request proof of initial production and/or publication date.

➜ Evaluation Criteria:

➜ Form - Design’s inherent visual and artistic quality
➜ Creativity & Innovation - General evaluation of design idea, and its employment of creative or innovative concepts
➜ Finishing & Functionality - Product quality, useability, safety features, ease of maintenance
➜ Impact - Benefits, or lack thereof, the design brings to users and their environment

➜ Who may enter?

The NY Product Design Awards is open to Advertising Agencies, Art Directors, Brand / Business Owner, Car Designers, Creative Boutiques, Design Firms, Designers, Engineers, Entrepreneurs, Fashion Designers, Freelance Professionals, Furniture Designers, Graphic Designers, In-house Marketing, Institutions, Manufacturers, Product Designers, PR firms, Students, Teachers and Anyone aged 18 and with a great new product design.

➜ Prize:

➜ The Product Design / Designer of the Year Winners will receive a complimentary limited-edition trophy and professionally designed certificate.
➜ One professionally designed certificate commemorating the winning entry, which includes entry title, entering company/winners' name and category. Decal will be affixed indicating the level of win.
➜ Top tier (Gold and Silver) winners will be featured on NY Product Design Awards site's Gallery, where professionals can view your work.
➜ A press release template sent to major industry outlets, celebrating your win.
➜ Professionally designed logos for use on websites, in email signatures, etc.
➜ In addition to the complimentary certificates, Gold and Silver winners may purchase beautiful Ava statuettes, and/or additional customized certificates.
➜ Gold and Silver winners will get featured by the NY Product Design Awards on social media or our media partner on Muse.World’s website.

➜ Entry fees:

Entry fee during the Early Bird period (10 Nov 2023 — 13 Dec 2023) is $199. After that period ends the amount of fee will increase.
