Competition Details
CEWE Photo Award 2027, organised by CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA, invites photographers worldwide to explore the theme “Our world is beautiful” and share images celebrating the beauty and diversity of our planet.
The ten categories are Landscapes, Animals, People, Travel & Culture, Street Photography, Architecture, Close-up & Macro Photography, Sports & Action, The World in Abstract, Nature & Wildlife.
A dedicated Young Talent Award recognises photographers aged 16 to 25, with parental or legal representative consent required for entrants under 18.
Each month, three photographs across the categories and one Young Talent Award photograph are selected, with monthly winners qualifying for the final selection.
For every photograph submitted, CEWE donates €0.10 to UNICEF, and final winners will be announced in summer 2027.

Submit up to 100 original photographs online through a registered account, selecting the appropriate competition categories.
Files must be PNG, JPG or JPEG, with a minimum size of 1,080 × 1,080 pixels; retain the original JPEG, RAW or TIF files, which may be requested for verification or publication.
Images must be captured with a lens-based camera: exclusively computer-generated or AI-generated images and generative fills are not permitted; editing must not significantly change the image or add or remove captured information, and must be disclosed in the image description.
