C-IDEA Design Award 2026 is now open for entries!

C-IDEA Design Award 2026 : The C-IDEA Design Award 2026, recently announced for entries is the Worlds’ annual juried design competition that aims to recognize and promote visionary talents in a wide array of categories ranging from communication design, industrial design, architecture, interior design, fashion design and new media.

Short description

The call for entries for the 8th edition of the C-IDEA Design Award 2026 has been recently opened for designers from all parts of the world.

The C-IDEA Design Award is the Worlds’ annual juried design competition. It aims to recognize and promote visionary talents in a wide array of categories:

1. Visual and Communication Design
2. Product Design
3. Package Design
4. Architectural Design
5. Interior Design
6. UI&UX Design
7. Fashion Design
8. Lifestyle Accessories Design
9. Film&Animation Design
10. Game Design
11. Intelligent Interaction Design
12. Conceptual Design
13. Other

The 2026 C-IDEA Design Awards will continue its regular competition categories while introducing a special collaborative call for entries with the Krosno Design Festival.

Any unpublished and published concept works include mass-produced or marketed products that can participate in C-IDEA Design Award. The works must be the original works created by the competitors recently and it is completely original without plagiarism.

The C-IDEA Design Award hopes to create more opportunities for excellent designers to communicate and cooperate with exhibitions, awards ceremonies, and international events.

The jury consists of twenty countries with over thirty representatives from high-profile designers and educators. The C-IDEA Design Award aims to recognize outstanding design with social value, excavate more farsighted, and responsible excellent design forces to help the development of the design industry.

Evaluation Criteria:

Commercial and artistic value, social use value, innovative performance, theme expression, and all entries will be comprehensively evaluated from various perspectives by the jurors.

The award ceremony of the C-IDEA Design Award will be held in May 2026. Each year’s results are announced during a ceremony that is hosted in a different country.
So far, the CIDEA Design Awards ceremonies (and accompanying events) have been hosted in Germany, Australia, Russia, Poland, South Korea, Czech Republic, China Taiwan, and so on.
During the award ceremony, the organizing committee will also arrange a series of activities such as a design tour and lectures for the designers.
A yearbook and exhibition of the nominated designs are also presented as part of the event.

Who may enter?

All the Designers, Design groups, Design institutions, Teachers of design colleges, Junior college students, Undergraduate Students, and Graduate students can sign up for the C-IDEA Design Award.

Prize:

Award recipients will have the opportunity to receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze Awards from the C-IDEA Design Awards and attract attention from the global design community during the Krosno Design Festival. Furthermore, all awarded works will be exhibited at the 2026 Krosno Design Festival, placing them at the forefront of the industry and further enhancing their commercial value, market recognition, and potential for collaboration.

Award winners receive award certificates, opportunities for inclusion in the C-IDEA Design Award Yearbook, international media coverage, a free entry ticket to the award ceremony and more.

Furthermore, all winners will receive dual recognition from both the C-IDEA Design Awards and the Krosno Design Festival, providing designers with broader international exposure and industry resources.

Entry fees:

Early bird deadline (until 31 December 2025)

Company & Professional: EUR 35 / per entry
Student: the first entry’s participation fee is free of charge. If you submit more than one entry, the participation fee would be EUR 10 / per entry.

Regular deadline (until 31 March 2026)

Company & Professional: EUR 50 / per entry
Student: the first entry’s participation fee is free of charge. If you submit more than one entry, the participation fee will be EUR 15 / per entry.
