Fotofestiwal Open Call 2024: Fotofestiwal 2024 – International Festival of Photography in Łódź, the largest and the oldest photography festival in Poland, announces the call for projects looking for artists with exceptional personalities and projects which present bold visions.

Short description

The Fotofestiwal – International Festival of Photography in Łódź, the largest and the oldest photography festival in Poland, announces the call for projects within Fotofestiwal Open Call 2024.

The Fotofestiwal gives you an opportunity to present your works to the audience of the International Festival of Photography held in Łódź (Poland) that will be held between 9th and 26th June. Fotofestiwal was established in 2001 as one of the first photographic events in Poland. Since then it has become one of the most important and largest photography festivals in Central Europe, but its basic mission has not changed.

The organizers present different faces of photography, talk through photography about important social and artistic issues, introduce the audience to the unobvious beauty and unique history of Łódź. They organize exhibitions in post-industrial spaces, emphasize networking events, try to develop new ways of talking about photography.
The competition does not impose any thematic, age or geographical limitations.

The organizers are looking for artists with exceptional personalities and projects which present bold visions.

The six winners will be selected by an international Jury and exhibited during Fotofestiwal 2024.

Who may enter?

This competition is opne to all photographers woldwide.

Prize:

If your project is selected as one of the six best, you will be offered:

Exhibition during Fotofestiwal (over 20.000 viewers)
Artist’s fee – 400 Euro
Accommodation for the main weekend of the festival (4 nights)
Reimbursement of travel expenses up to 200 Euro
Exhibition production budget (and full technical support) – 500 Euro

Entry fees:

Each participant can submit maximum two projects, and for each submitted project the cost is 15 Euro.
