Sanskriri: Sanskriri, online writing and design competition organized by ThisDay in partnership with Jaipur Literature Festival 2022, has been recently opened for entries inviting everyone to participate.

Sanskriri, online writing and design competition organized by ThisDay in partnership with Jaipur Literature Festival 2022, has been recently opened for entries inviting everyone to participate.

With the explosion of the internet and mass media, we are surrounded by more and more stories. However, beyond the realm of the virtual world, there are stories lost in the dusty bylanes of history, waiting for an audience.

The topic for the writing competition is 'Untold Tale'. You have to write a nonfictional story of history, art or culture. Organizer wants you to channelise your inner storyteller and find an interesting story from the realms of history, art and culture that you think has never received the platform it deserves.

The topic for the design competition is 'Colours of Culture'. Organizer wants you to illustrate your own culture and bring forth the cultural symphony for everyone.

The submissions in design category can be:

➜Digital Artwork: (Digitally created on any software- Illustrations/ Designs/ Sketches etc);
➜Traditional Artwork (Any medium- Graphite, Crayons, Oils, Water colour, Gouache - Properly Scanned and saved in the given dimension)

The winners will be announced on 14 March, 2022.

This competition is open to everyone wordwide.

➜ 1st Prize - INR 10000
➜ 2nd Prize - INR 5000
➜ 3rd Prize - INR 2000

The top 3 submissions from 'Untold Tale' would get an illustration from organizer's talented design team and will be featured on their platform, for more than 14 million users and the top 3 submissions from 'Colours of Culture' would get their work featured as part of This Day’s exhibition during the Jaipur Literary Festival 2022.
