Short description
The LensCulture Art Photography Awards 2026, organized by LensCulture, a renowned photography magazine based in the Netherlands, that stands as a prestigious event in the world of photography, has been recently announced for entries.
The LensCulture Art Photography Awards aims to celebrate talented visual artists around the world who are using photographic processes and images to realize their creative ideas.
Photographers and artists from every corner of the world are welcome to share work that surprises, challenges, delights, or expands our appreciation of the photographic medium.
There are no strict rules for this award. LensCulture excited to see every kind of creative approach — from conceptual and experimental projects, to prints made for gallery walls, to analog materials, montage, cameraless techniques, and new forms. If your work pushes boundaries, invents its own language, or blends photography with other media, this competition is for you.
What matters most is your unique vision — and the mastery with which you bring that vision to life.
Whether participants choose to submit a single striking image or a cohesive series, the emphasis lies on the thematic or aesthetic coherence of their work. This approach not only highlights the artistic vision of the photographers but also underscores their ability to communicate and resonate with a global audience.
LensCulture is on a mission to discover the most imaginative, talented, creative photographers out there, regardless of location, age, background or experience level.
The competition is open to all types of art photography: conceptual, experimental, landscape, alternative process, camera-less, narrative, cinematic, fashion, abstract, appropriation, still life, portraiture, environmental, found imagery and analog.
