The BBA Artist Prize 2026, international call for artist, has been recently organized by BBA Gallery in Berlin inviting everyone worldwide regardless of nationality and genders to participate.
This open call invites emerging and established artists from all over the world to submit their works for a chance to gain recognition, exposure, and professional opportunities within the global art scene.
The competition is open to artists of all disciplines, whether painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, and new media allowing for a diverse and rich display of contemporary art.
Visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship, subject depth, and understanding, is just a few aspects that the jury of industry professionals will take into consideration.
Whether you are a seasoned artist with an existing track-record, a promising talent starting your journey, or simply enthusiastic about art, the BBA Artist Prize 2025 is a great opportunity to show your work.
You can sbmit up to 6 artworks. All mediums and themes are welcome.
Artists cannot submit artworks exclusively contracted with another gallery, and they must hold all moral and intellectual property rights for their submitted work.
Each year, the BBA Artist Prize finalists are selected by an independent panel of jurors composed of gallerists, art critics, and industry experts. Their works are exhibited in the prestigious BBA Gallery during Berlin Gallery Weekend, one of the most anticipated art events in Europe.
This exhibition provides a platform for participating artists to showcase their creative vision and engage with an international audience of collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts. The BBA Artist Prize also offers valuable media exposure through press coverage, online features, and professional networking opportunities.
Who may enter?
This competition is open worldwide to artists over 18 years old.
Prize:
The top award is €1,000 plus a solo exhibition at BBA Gallery, Artsy profile, and online promotion (newsletter, press, socials), the 2nd prize is €700 with an Artsy profile and online promotion, the 3rd prize is €500 with an Artsy profile and online promotion. There is also an Audience Award of €300 with an Artsy profile and online promotion.
